The process

Opening day, done right

  1. Uncover and store

Cover removed, cleaned, folded and stored properly so it survives another Oklahoma winter. Debris stays out of your water.

  2. Reassemble and inspect

Plugs out, equipment reconnected, pump primed and every component inspected after months of sitting. Winter damage gets caught here.

  3. Deep clean and shock

Walls brushed, floor vacuumed, water shocked and circulated. The green of March becomes the blue of May.

  4. Balance and start up

Full chemistry balance and equipment start-up, dialed in for swim season. We leave it swim-ready, not just open.

  5. Fall closing and winterizing

When the season ends we reverse it: lines blown out, equipment protected, water treated and cover secured before the freeze.

What's included

Worry-free pool seasons

Oklahoma winters can damage pool equipment and surfaces if the pool isn't winterized. A pool that wasn't closed correctly often opens to green water, stains or broken equipment in spring.

Our fall closing clears water from the lines, protects the equipment and secures the cover before the first freeze. Our spring opening gets you clean, balanced and running.

  • Cover removal, cleaning and storage
  • Fall winterization and antifreeze treatment
  • Equipment blowout and line clearing
  • Cover installation and inspection
  • End-of-season equipment protection

Good to know

Opening & closing questions, answered

When should I close my pool for winter?

Usually between late October and early November, before the first hard freeze. Waiting too long risks freeze damage to equipment and pipes.

How much does a pool closing cost?

This season, closings are $199 plus chemicals. We confirm the chemical cost for your pool when you book.

When should I open my pool in Oklahoma?

Most Tulsa-area pools open between late April and mid-May. Opening before temperatures stay above 70°F helps prevent algae.

What happens if my pool wasn't closed properly?

Cracked pipes, damaged equipment and heavy algae are common. We can often fix the damage, but proper winterizing costs far less.

Is there a discount for booking opening and closing together?

Yes. Clients who book both get a bundled rate. Ask about the seasonal care package when you call.
