Our commitment

Serenity Pools & Spas wants every visitor to use this website comfortably — including people who rely on screen readers, keyboard navigation, voice control, magnification, or other assistive technology. We aim to meet or exceed the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA.

Accessibility tools on this site

Every page includes an accessibility panel — the "Accessibility" tab on the left edge of your screen. It lets you:

• Increase text size (two levels).
• Switch to a readable, dyslexia-friendly font with wider spacing.
• Turn on a reading guide that follows your cursor to help you keep your place.
• Raise color contrast.
• Highlight every link.
• Pause animations and motion.

Your choices are saved on your device and stay on as you move between pages.

What we do

• Semantic HTML structure with a logical heading order and named landmarks.
• A "skip to main content" link on every page.
• Full keyboard operability with visible focus indicators.
• Text alternatives for meaningful images.
• Color contrast that meets WCAG 2.1 AA ratios.
• Support for text resizing up to 200% without loss of content.
• Reduced-motion support: animations respect your device's "reduce motion" setting.
• Forms with labels, clear error messages, and no time limits.

Known limitations

• The embedded Google Map is provided by a third party; its interface is controlled by Google. Our address and phone number are always available as text on the Contact page.
• Some older project photos may have brief alternative text. We are improving these descriptions on an ongoing basis.

Third-party content

Portions of this site rely on third-party services (Google Maps, Google Fonts, social media links). We cannot fully control the accessibility of those services, but we choose providers with published accessibility commitments wherever possible.

Ongoing effort

Accessibility is not a one-time project. We review this website regularly, test with keyboard and screen-reader tools, and update this statement as we improve. This statement was last reviewed on September 19, 2026.
